Omnia Mea Mecum Porto /
Sve svoje sa sobom nosim, (2020)

Assemblage. A passport printout, newspapers, a computer motherboard tray.

This assemblage, resembling an identification document, explores the theme of youth migration and brain drain from Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent years.

A computer motherboard tray stands in for the foundation of identity, just as it holds the essential components for a computer to function. At the center is a layout of an individual’s passport, with a map detail placed above it. To the right, a cut-out from old Yugoslavian newspapers features the headline "Hiljadu mladih odgovara" ("A Thousand Young People Respond"). Beneath it is the Latin phrase "Omnia mea mecum porto," translated into Bosnian ("Sve svoje sa sobom nosim").

The birthplace shown in the passport highlights the formative influence of one's origins, suggesting that people carry their early experiences with them wherever they go. The piece draws a connection between programming, social conditioning, and the human ability to adapt, no matter where life takes them.
